Well it looks like I should have done more research before I booked my flight to Europe. I was planning to buy a Busabout Flexipass for 10 stops in 2 months, and a train pass for 5 stops in 2 months…
I had planned to fly into London on april 16, go straight to Paris and stay there for 2/3 days, then I was going to take off and explore the Burgundy and Rhone Velley regions. From there I was going to head to Spain, tour around (Barcelona,Valencia, Granada, Costa del Sol, Seville) and then see the French Riviera on my way through to Italy….Well as it turns out the busabout network doesn’t stop in those regions in France and half of the stops that I wanted to make don’t start running until after May 4th…or 16th.. Ahhhh….Deep Breath, time for a change of plans. This means help from fellow EuroTrippers. So now I was thinking of exploring the western coast of France instead, (Bordeaux,Tours, is where the bus stops) Is this a good idea? What can I expect from this region in mid April? Can anyone give me suggestions on another itinerary that I may enjoy more? I will be spending 6 weeks in Europe and basically I was planning to spend 7 days in France, 10 days in Spain, 12 days in Italy, and 10 days in Greece. After that head back to london to catch my flight home on May 28th. Thanks so much
