Windows Vista
Tue, 05/01/2007 - 00:13
Anyone use it?
I personally think it’s too much money for nothing really. Just a few visual aesthetics to emulate it’s competitor.
A few new programs coming standard with Vista, such as Windows media center, Windows office, Internet explorer 7..etc.
All of which you can buy/download and install in your Xp version without taking up a rediculous amount of memory.
And all this for 150+ dollars?
Woah, How informative, I agree with you Icbites.

You’re so clever and persuasive, not to mention your rugged good looks and ripped body.

Not bothered with Vista, and probably won’t be for 3-4 years at least. Well pleased with XP.
I use XP. No reason for the average user to go to Vista yet. I probably need to get familiar with Vista though.
Eat the food, use the wrong verbs, and end up getting charged double.
I would not even consider getting it. But then again, I never “bought” XP either… I just got it when I was ready to buy a new computer and it was pre-installed. If I decide to build my own PC one day, then I’ll have to buy it.
I would not get it now anyway because there are so many compatability issues that they are still dealing with.
Building my own computer is on my ‘things to do list’
