Wizz Air - cancellation policy?
Sun, 07/11/2010 - 13:13
Does anyone know what Wizzair’s cancellation policy is? I can’t find it anywhere on the website. I think I want to change my flight, but the change will cost the same as just booking the new flight on top of my existing flight (~$40). If I can get some money refunded from cancelling my first flight, it would make more sense to do that and then book the second flight. Thank you!

Has anyone flown Wizz Air? What was your experience?
I’m considering booking a flight with them (NYO to GDN), but I was a little disheartened when I saw that paying by credit card and checking in one bag would double the price I was expecting to pay (which was already at least double the price of any other flight I had searched on their site).
Is it worth it to fly with them from NYO to save potentially $50 flying with a “real” airline from ARN?
I am leaving from Toronto with $2700 for 23 days

It probably would not be worth it to me. Looks like SAS will connect you via CPH, which I’d probably do. Skavsta is pretty far from Stockholm proper. The bus is 90 minutes and costs __ SEK.
Other than the baggage fees, the other problem with Wizz air is that they usually fly in and out of smaller airports that are further out of the cities than the major airports.

Thank you for your response
The SAS flight is $170 while the Wizzair flight is 80CAD (with 99SEK/15CAD for the shuttle bus from Stockholm to NYO).
Why do you say it is not worth it to fly Wizzair? Do you have experience with the airline?

I’d probably Wizz.
I flew from Eindhoven to Prague, great deal. Nothing was wrong with the flight or anything. I plan on flying with them again this summer.
Thanks for your responses, everyone. I booked the flight.
