In the last 24 hours I’ve heard two interviews (http://www.abc.net.a… and http://www.abc.net.a…)which raise a point that I haven’t seen raised anywhere else. While many western forces have women in combat roles the Northern Alliance is extremely conservative and may refuse to assist the western forces if they are forced to work alongside women.

It’s becoming more widely accepted that the NA’s co-operation, skill and knowledge is imperative to the success of the mission.

The question: What is more important, the success of the mission or the rights of women to be in combat roles?
