Hi everyone
Im planning to take a gap year from university in 2010 and i’ve decided to spend the time travelling Europe. Im setting aside 1 whole year to this trip and plan to see as many places as possible. I have about AU$8k saved up. I plan to live off the money i make in Europe while spending my savings on travels.
The way i see it, ill be spending most of my time in the UK where ill be working and every so often, ill take a trip to a desired destination and come back and start working again in the UK. Im worried that i may end up spending too much time working and not have enough time to actually see Europe.
Is this the only way to go about it for a person that can only speak english? Or are there lots of job opportunities for english speakers in countries like Netherlands, Germany etc? I would MUCH rather being able to relocate to different places and work in different countries to experience their culture first hand.
Has anyone from english speaking countries recently spent long periods of time working and travelling in Europe? If so any advice will be much appreciated!
Thanks in advance.
