Hi everyone, I am interested in finding out if I can work legally in Italy. I am from Boston, USA and looking to move to Rome this summer as a nanny. I already have the job lined up and am excited to go. A friend of mine who lives in Rome said that all I need is a sponsor and I will be all set. Is this true? I worked in London and Galway recently on the BUNAC visas and the restrictions are so tight, it just seems that working in Italy has to be tough too.

I would greatly appreciate any advice, or even some website recommendations…so far I haven’t had any luck finding information on the web.
