Your advice and help please
Sun, 11/29/2009 - 05:23
Hey I am planning my trip over to Europe and was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on my trip. You can see my plan at

Let me know what you all think!
Thanks
I am leaving from chicago with $1500 for 20 days

Overall, I like your itinerary.
During your long stay in Cologne, do you also plan to see the Rhine Valley?
Also, I would suggest maybe dropping Stuttgart, and squeezing Salzburg instead (can be a daytrip from Munich). Also, maybe add a day to Florence, and use that day as a daytrip to Siena.

I agree with LUv… stuttgart is nothing special…just a big industrial town. I think the Mercedes museum is there, but othyerwise I nothing to recommend it

If you go to his trip you will see that he is meeting a friend in Stuttgart, so dropping it may not be an option…

Yes while in cologne we are going to see the Rhine Valley. Do you have any places that you would suggest?
As for Stuttgart, I am visiting a friend there but I will see if he might want to come to Munich with me.
Do you guys have any advice on traveling? Do i just get a three country Eurail pass or would there be a cheaper alternative?
