YUL to CDG

Hello,
I am looking at flights to Europe right now for the end of August, and most flights have been priced around $1000 return.
I was considering flying into Amsterdam, then flying home from Gatwick for a little less than $1000 total ($870CAD on itasoftware)
But I just found flights from Montreal to Paris for $707CAD roundtrip. I have family in Montreal so traveling there from the Toronto area wont be a big deal.
I haven’t decided if I want to venture over to the British Isles during my trip, as I don’t have much interest in visiting London, but I have friends living in Ireland that I wouldn’t mind visiting.
I would assume that if I decided to visit the Isles the Gatwick flight would be a better option so that I don’t have to travel back and forth across the channel.
My itinerary is to visit Amsterdam, head east as far as Prague then move south back through Italy and France. Do any of you know of any alternative flights that I could take? So far it seems as though Gatwick and Amsterdam are the cheapest from Toronto and Paris is Cheap from Montreal
I am leaving from Toronto with $2500 for 23 days
Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, Prague, Munich, Vienna, Barcelona, Paris
Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, Prague, Munich, Vienna, Barcelona, Paris

Also, do you think the $707 is the best deal I am going to get, or is it safe to wait a couple months?
Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, Prague, Munich, Vienna, Barcelona, Paris
Look for Corsairfly to Orly. $707 Loonies is very good.
If you’d consider UK flights, see also www.canadian-affair….
Thanks Don.
I found flights from Gatwick to Pearson for $388, not bad
Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, Prague, Munich, Vienna, Barcelona, Paris
