Can’t go wrong with any of those cities…when in Florence I might grab a train for a quick trip to Pisa and the Leaning Tower

Thanks! We are planning on doing that.

Any recommendations for Barcelona? What do you think about possibly adding in Madrid before or after Barcelona? What would you recommend doing in Madrid if so? How long for both cities?

We know how long we want to be in every country except for Spain.

Thank you for your help!

I’m guessing you’re flying to Spain from Italy? In that case it doesn’t really matter whether you visit madrid or Barcelona first (depends which has the lowest airfare). Barcelona is a great city with a good night life, so I would probably plan for at least 3 days here. Madrid is worth two days with maybe a daytrip to Segovia, Avila or Toledo…all easily accessible by train (about 30 – 45 min. from Madrid)
