I would love to make this happen. Any feedback?
Also does anyone have any experience with taking a ferry between Barcelona and Rome instead of a flight?
A flight would be much cheaper and less of a hassle.
You are spending a ton of time in each city so I would break them ups some. For example, take a days and head south from Barcelona to Granada. Split up Rome and take a look at visiting Florence and/or Venice.
Also, Frankfurt is boring. Opt for Munich or Berlin instead.
How much time would you recommend for each city?
Rome, Barcelona and Paris I would do 3-4 days, although it you really want to keep the 6, you won’t find a shortage of things to do.
5 days in Frankfurt and Zurich is not a good idea. Especially Frankfurt as it is not for tourists; not dangerous or anything, but just kind of boring. It’s essentially a business city. Add Munich instead. And to a lesser degree, Zurich is the same way.
