Me and my friend are going to Europe to try and soak up as much as we can given our alloted timeframe. Do some drinking & partying in Amsterdam, Frankfurt & Munich. Then we plan to roll with it in Prague, then tone it down and check out the sights in Venice, Pisa and Rome.

Only 1 sight in Pisa — the tower. Can be a day trip from Florence which is a far more interesting city. I would cut 1 day from Rome, stay in Florence for two days and use one of those days for a day trip to pisa. Frankfurt sucks. Replace it with Berlin — one of the coolest cities in Europe.

Good to know, thanks! Is it expensive to cab/train it for the day to Pisa from Florence? Or would we be better off skipping it all together?

Very cheap by train. Takes about an hour and a half.

Might cut Munich to 3 days and add Vienna or Salzburg

Any train travel advice? It seems like Amsterdam-Germany-Czech-Italy is already going to be an expensive train situation. If I add another country to that list it’ll get even worse won’t it?

Have you thought about a rail pass? check out the rail pass options we offer as it may be cheaper than city to city. Just click rail passes on the blue menu bar.

Yes I did, seems like it’ll be about $430 each for a rail pass for this trip. Is that about right?

You may do better purchasing tickets at the train stations… I would look up prices on the various national rail sights to verify.
