So far the only thing that is planned for sure is Oktoberfest in Munich for at least 3 days, and Amsterdam on the 15, 16, 17th for my brothers birthday. Other than that… right now I’m pretty open.
I loved Belgium when I was over there a few years ago, and I’d love to go back. I also wanted to go see some places that I hadn’t been to. Austria, Switzerland, Hungary were all places that I thought I might be able to hit up.
We’d love to catch a soccer match sometime over there, so if there are any good soccer matches I’d love to head over in that direction.
I love heading out and sight seeing and going to museums during the day, and having a beer or two or three at night.
I like it. One day in Vienna is plenty, not my favourite city and also rather expensive although one day will let you see all the grand buildings which cover the city. I like Budapest, there’s allot to see and do and can be a fun city to go out in at night. I actually prefer Bratislava over Prague, both are also great to go out in at night.
Football will be in full swing again by that time, although most countries have not yet published fixture’s for the forthcoming season, although if you keep an eye out that should start happening in the next couple of week’s.
whats up man? my wife and i are from southern cali ( anaheim ). anyways ya man def check out switzerland. we backpackd W Europe for 5 weeks 2 yrs ago and went to Interlaken. great mountain city with all the extreme activities. from reading some of your posts id say u would like the city. try “canyoning” its pretty sweet! have fun dude
It’s funny that you just put that comment up. I was in the process of making a post to find an extra place to go on our trip. My roomate actually just got back from a trip to Switzerland, but she did the whole 5-Star hotel route with a bunch of bigwigs from In-N-Out. They stayed at fancy hotels, and went shopping mostly. That’s not really my gig, but I have heard some really good things about Interlaken… I might have to add it to the trip.
I just got a new camera bag and lens for my camera. I also picked up a new travel towel… I forgot mine in Amsterdam on my last trip. Just about a week away from my trip n’ I can’t wait.
Sweet trip…If you have time Antwerp, Belgium is worth a peek
Yeah… I’ve got about a week or so in Belgium. Antwerp is on the list of places I’m thinking about going.
