so everyone out there we could use a little help! so there are 3 of us traveling moi (Samantha), Mona (my usual travel partner/best friend), and Holly (the newest addition to your eurotrip/and amazing person). we want to go to london, paris and amsterdam. i was wondering how much money you think we will need? we want to do couchsurfing in london and hostels/hotels in paris and a hotel or hostel or couchsurf in amsterdam. so far i have found that holly and my flight is going to be around $700 because we are students and mona’s is probably going to be around 1000. couch surfing is free and the hostels/hotels shouldn’t be more than $400 each. next there is travel, we want to use the english channel train (the chunnel) and that is around $100 between london and paris and misc. buses and metros should be around $20-40. next is sights the eiffel tower, versaille (half day trip), the Louvre, the paris opera house (the must see’s) how much should that cost for paris? in london we want to ride the london eye, tour the tower of london, and madame Tussuads (more must see things but i believe most of them are just photo ops!) how much will this cost? and we really aren’t wanting to do much in amsterdam just see anne frank’s home and eat some brownies
hahaha so what do you think? are we being to ambitious or are we doing the right amount of things in the right amount of time? thanks so much for always helping out!!
we are all really looking forward you your feedback! thanks so much
sammi, mona and holly
oh shoot, i forgot about food! how much should be take to use for food, we would be going to supermarkets a lot and also doing the nice “dinner” for lunch. we are trying to do this for as little as possible really. most of us just have enough to cover the flight and the lodging. so every free thing or cheap meal really helps! thanks again!
I think your budget is good. The london eye and tussards is pretty expensive. You can check all of these sights websites for ticket prices. You seem very organized and have some good stuff planned. I think it will work out pretty well!
To save money on food supermarkets are a must. Also street fast food can be cheap.
thanks for that!! i have been planning my butt off to make this trip a success!! we are going to try and couchsurf everywhere…so i think groceries would be a good idea
Oh man were buying our flight tickets this weekend!! we are super dee dooper excited!!!
Nice! Keep us posted!
